AVSL Phoenix 2025 Trials Announced
Volleyball NSW has officially announced the trial dates for the Senior Indoor Phoenix Program, the elite pathway for athletes aiming to represent New South Wales in the 2025 Australian Volleyball Super League (AVSL). This prestigious national competition will take place across various locations in Australia from late September to early November 2025.
What is the Senior Indoor Phoenix Program?
The Senior Indoor Phoenix is a high-performance, state-wide program designed to identify and develop the top male and female volleyball athletes in NSW. Open to athletes of all ages, the program serves as the primary selection platform for the state’s AVSL teams.
Trial Details
Phase 1 Trials
- Dates: Saturday, 19 July and Saturday, 26 July 2025
- Location: Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park
- Fees:
- Both trials: $50 + transaction fee
- Single trial (either 19 or 26 July): $30 + transaction fee
Phase 2 Trials (Invitation Only)
- Dates: Saturday, 2 August and Saturday, 9 August 2025
What to Bring and Wear
Athletes are expected to wear appropriate playing gear. Please note:
- Trial uniforms will not be provided
- Do not wear any gear representing other states
This is a unique opportunity for NSW’s best volleyball players to showcase their skills and earn a place on the state team competing at the national level.
