Volleyball NSW is proud to announce Chris Todd as Head Coach of our NSW Phoenix Men'' team in the 2025 Australian Volleyball Super League (AVSL) season.

Returning to lead the NSW Phoenix Men’s Team in 2025, Chris Todd, a highly respected figure in Australian volleyball with a proven track record in both indoor and beach disciplines. Since joining Volleyball NSW, Chris has brought a renewed energy and strategic vision to the NSW Phoenix program, helping to reshape the programs identity and performance culture.

At the domestic level, Chris has been instrumental in building the NSW Phoenix program into a competitive and cohesive unit. His focus on tactical discipline, athlete accountability, and high-performance standards has already begun to shift the high-performance culture the NSW Phoenix Youth and Junior programs. His holistic approach to coaching — combining elite-level strategy with a strong emphasis on culture and character — makes him a cornerstone of the NSW Phoenix program’s long-term vision.

As the 2025 AVSL season approaches, Chris is focused on lifting the men’s team off the bottom of the table and into finals contention. With a strong pre-season, a clear game strategy and a talented squad, he’s ready to lead NSW Phoenix into a new era of success.
