Introducing the 2025 NSW Phoenix Super League Squads!

Volleyball NSW is proud to unveil the official squads representing New South Wales in the 2025 Australian Volleyball Super League. After a competitive trial process held in July and August, the top male and female athletes from across the state have earned their place in the elite NSW Phoenix teams.

These squads will compete in the national Super League competition, which runs from late September to early November 2025, showcasing high-intensity volleyball across five rounds, followed by finals in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Our NSW Phoenix squads are entering the 2025 Super League season with a clear mission: to build on the progress of recent years and make a serious push towards the finals. With a strong foundation laid through junior development and performance programs, the teams are now looking to convert that growth into national success.

Hear from our Head Coaches Chris Todd and Kelly Hunter shared thier vision for the season:

“We will be looking to build on the success of the junior programs over the last three years now that the guys are a little more experienced. There are a lot of great players that haven’t been part of the NSW Phoenix teams, so we want to combine that youth with the experience of some of our returning players who have that international experience, and use this to hopefully have a successfull season and challenege all the other teams within the league.” - Chris Todd 

"The squad is looking exciting this year with the return of some of our most experienced players and the addition of some dynamic young athletes playing in their first Super League season. We have a bit more depth this year, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the team comes together in the next few weeks leading into our first match in Melbourne"- Kelly Hunter 

This blend of emerging talent and seasoned leadership is expected to give NSW Phoenix a competitive edge. With a strong culture, strategic preparation, and the backing of the local volleyball community, the teams are focused on making a deep run into the Super League finals.

Mark your calendars! NSW Phoenix will be playing their home rounds at Netball Central and Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, in what promises to be a thrilling showcase of elite volleyball. 

📍 Round 1 28th September - Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park 

📍Round 3 11th October - Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, Shoalhaven
