This National Volunteers Week (20–26 May 2025), Volleyball NSW proudly celebrates the heart and soul of our community – our dedicated volunteers. From coaches and referees to scorers, committee members, event staff, and everyone in between, our sport thrives because of your passion, commitment, and generosity.

The theme for this year, “Something for Everyone”, perfectly captures the spirit of volunteering in volleyball. Whether you're helping out at local competitions or supporting our major state events, every contribution makes a difference and helps us grow the game across New South Wales.

Volunteers are the quiet champions behind every spike, serve, and set – and we want to say a heartfelt thank you. Your time, energy, and love for the sport create opportunities for players of all ages and levels to enjoy, improve, and be inspired.

This week, we invite all members of the Volleyball NSW community to join us in celebrating our volunteers. Share your stories, tag a volunteer hero on social media, or simply say "thanks" to someone who gives their time to the game.
