Winter Beach Volleyball Tour- Round 1 Recap
Volleyball NSW is proud to announce the successful completion of Round 1 of our first-ever Winter Beach State Tour — a brand-new competition series bringing the heat to the sand during the cooler months and showcasing our new beach volleyball venue- Blacktown City Beach.
Held under crisp skies and cool conditions, Round 1 saw athletes from across the state hit the beach with energy, determination, and plenty of grit. This exciting new tour is designed to keep the beach volleyball community active and competitive year-round, and Round 1 delivered just that — with strong performances, great sportsmanship, and a few surprise upsets. We were even blessed with an epic sunset for the women's finals!
And the action didn’t stop there! Round 1 of the men's Winter BVT followed the next weekend, bringing even more intensity and high-level play to the sand. From powerful serves to clutch rallies, the competition was fierce and the vibes were electric.
A huge thank you to all our competitors, staff, and supporters who made Round 1 of the Winter BVT the amazing success it was!
