2022 AVL ROUND 6 - NSW PHOENIX vs MEL VIPERS

For round 6 of AVL the Phoenix travelled to the central coast for the final home round of the season. Running a clinic with the local kids in the morning allowed them squad to connect with the local community before the matches against vipers.

2022 AVL ROUND 5 - NSW PHOENIX vs TAS ECHIDNAS

Round 5 of AVL started with some challenges for the NSW Phoenix with a cancellation of flight and detour via Melbourne on Saturday morning requiring the match start times be delayed. A strong team performance, and a lot of growth for the Phoenix.

Volleyball NSW announced as NSW Sports Awards finalist

Finalists in each of the 2022 NSW Sports Awards categories have been announced by Sport NSW today. The 2022 NSW Sports Awards are NSW’s highest sports honours and the 12 category winners will be revealed at the prestigious rebel NSW Champions of Sport Ceremony at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour on Monday, November 28.

2022 AVL ROUND 2 - NSW PHOENIX vs QLD PIRATES

Round 2 saw NSW Phoenix get their first taste of AVL. While there are a few experienced players who have been involved in AVL before for some athletes this was their first ever game of senior indoor volleyball. This was also the first time Phoenix have played AVL.

Our NSW Youth Phoenix take flight tomorrow… NSW Phoenix athletes and coaches have been prepping for months for this special moment. Tomorrow, we are off to Bendigo with 12 Youth Phoenix Teams, representing NSW at the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships 2022 (AYVC). Who is excited? This year in addition to our Team Captains, we have also selected two athletes to be our Phoenix Team Captains leading our NSW Youth Phoenix Program into competition.
