Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with and be seen by the Sr. Volleyroo head coach who is touring Australia looking for top talent for the future. This will be a series of youth and junior training sessions run by National Team and Phoenix Head coaches. 

Each group will have trainings and physical testing to assist with TID. There is no direct selection from this opportunity, but instead will serve as an opportunity to find new and develop existing talent from NSW. 

Registration includes a special VNSW Phoenix Training shirt which athletes will receive on site.

Session Structure:

• Court session/s (Netball Central)
• Gym session (NSWRL)
• Recovery session (NSWRL)

The TID will be split into two days. Both days will go from 1pm until 9pm. specific timings for youth and juniors will be announced shortly.

Day 1: Aproximate start for males at 1pm. 

           Female athletes session on Saturday only

Day 2: Aproximate start 10am - 12pm for everyone and finish 6pm.

Purpose:

The purposes of the Talent ID sessions are to:

• Identify potential athletes in the Pathway for Senior Volleyroos
• Expose athletes to VNSW and VA Pathways Staff, enabling long term tracking of athlete:
  • Biometric data
  • Individual skill ability

Please note the following information before registering:

• Registration is invitation only 
• Athletes will need to hold a minimum current RECREATIONAL Individual Membership with VNSW. If you are not a member yet, then please CLICK HERE and become a member before trying to register for this event.
• Please ensure you are logged into our website with the profile of the athlete who is registering (see top right-hand corner of the page)
