2023 Volleyball NSW Stakeholders Meeting

Published Tue 21 Nov 2023

The Volleyball NSW Annual Stakeholders Meeting was held over the weekend and for the first time in years took place in a face-to-face format.  The event was an opportunity for our clubs to come together and engage with the valuable information delivered by our staff, presenters, and partners and provide feedback.

Volleyball NSW would like to acknowledge those clubs in attendance and recognise the hard work, effort, and time invested by all of our clubs to help grow and deliver this wonderful sport of ours. As the state body, we would not be able to accomplish what we do without the support of our clubs. This meeting provided a valuable platform for clubs to be involved in the journey, give feedback, and contribute to the sport's future.

Stakeholders at the meeting heard from VNSW partner Valour, who showcased the evolving uniform space and the opportunities for clubs to learn more about them as a potential supplier.  Matt Sibley from the Office of the Children's Guardian was on hand providing crucial updates on child safeguarding practices pertinent to our industry.

Additionally, Volleyball NSW staff provided updates ensuring our clubs are aware of the operations and strategies within the sport.  NSW Phoenix Head Coach Chris Todd shared information about the exciting evolution within our pathways department.

Overall, this Stakeholder meeting was a great success, and we thank those in attendance for the time and effort contributed. The knowledge shared, discussions had and connections made will undoubtedly contribute to the growth of our community and the future of Volleyball in NSW.
