Volleyball Australia Level 3 Coaching Course Open for Registration

Volleyball Australia is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the Level 3 “Associate” Face-to-Face Coaching Course, offering an exciting opportunity for current coaches to advance their skills and accreditation.

This nationally recognised course is designed for coaches looking to deepen their technical understanding, leadership capability, and strategic knowledge at an advanced level. Upon successful completion, participants will receive their Volleyball Australia Level 3 “Associate” Coach Accreditation.

Course Details

• Location: South Australian Sports Institute
  145B Railway Terrace, Mile End, SA 5031

• Dates: Saturday – Monday

• Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily

• Cost: $450 per person
  (Note: Flights and accommodation are not included and are the responsibility of the participant.)

Course Prerequisites

Before attending the course, the following must be completed:

1. Current Membership
   Participants must hold an active membership with their respective State or Territory Volleyball Association. Please note: applications will be rejected if your membership is not current. This will be verified with your State Association.

2. Level 2 “State” Coach Accreditation
   You must already be accredited as a Volleyball Australia Level 2 “State” Coach.

3. Mandatory Online Modules
   The following courses must be completed, and Certificates of Completion submitted:

   • Play By The Rules (PBTR): Harassment and Discrimination

   • Sport Integrity Australia (SIA):

     • Anti-Doping Fundamentals

     • Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction (required for participants aged 18 and over)

This face-to-face coaching course provides an immersive learning environment that combines theory, practical sessions, peer discussion, and expert-led instruction. It’s the next big step in Volleyball Australia's coach development pathway and is ideal for those looking to coach at higher levels of the game.
