The second ever Youth Indoor Championships is a fantastic opportunity for youth volleyballers from all corners of the state to compete against one another and show off their skills.
Games will take place over two and half days starting from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening.
Divisions & Age Requirements
The event will include the following Divisions:
- U18 Boys (max 15 teams)
- U18 Girls (max 15 teams)
- U17 Girls (max 6 teams)
- U16 Boys (max 6 teams)
- U16 Girls (max 6 teams)
Please note that players must be younger than the age limit for their division for the entire calendar year. For example, to play in the Under 17 division, a player must not turn 17 before or on December 31, 2025. Exemption requests related to this rule may be allowed in some circumstances and should be requested to competitions@volleyballnsw.com.au
Other Tournament Information
Maximum 12 players per team.
Each team will receive a minimum 4-5 games over the three days of competition varying on division entries.
Timed Best of 5 matches, 15 minute warm up, 90 minute playing time. Untimed finals.
Volleyball NSW reserves the right to change any tournament formats and procedures as needed.
Registration
Team entry is open to Regional Academy of Sport Institutes, Schools and Volleyball NSW affiliated clubs with a priority being given to RASi and Regional (outside of Greater Sydney) teams.
Affiliated Clubs and Schools may only enter one (1) team per Division. RASi teams and regional clubs are not limited and can have multiple teams in a division.
Regional Academies and Regional Clubs will have an early registration period. If you would like to take advantage of this window please email competitions@volleyballnsw.com.au with your team name, team contact and what divisions you would like to enter.
RASi and REGIONAL CLUB REGISTRATION WINDOW - 7th May - 13th May.
Registration will be open publicly from 10:00 AM Wednesday 14th May. Registrations Close 11:59 PM Wednesday 21st May. Public Registration is via the register button located above.
PUBLIC REGISTRATION WINDOW - 10 AM 14th May - 11:59 PM 21st May.
If registration is full please contact Volleyball NSW to be placed on the waitlist.
TEAM ENTRY FEES & PAYMENT
- RASi and Regional Club Teams - $630 incl. GST per team
- All other team entries - $770 incl. GST per team
Teams will be invoiced Thursday 22nd May. Payment must be received no later than Monday 2nd June.
