School's Membership

From the 2026/27 season, all students participating in Volleyball NSW school‑based events (School's Cup) they will be required to hold at minimum a Volleyball NSW Schools Membership.

This change supports the long‑term growth, development, and sustainability of volleyball programs and competitions across New South Wales. It will also allow us to better track participation, attract additional resources, enhance the participant experience, and continue to professionalise the sport.

To support schools and families, the Schools Membership will be introduced through a phased approach over three seasons.

• 2026/27: $15 per student
• 2027/28: $30 per student
• 2028/29 and beyond: $45 per student

What This Means for Students

• One annual fee payment per student
• Membership covers the full season from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027
• Valid for all Volleyball NSW School's Cup competitions entered during that period
• Students must hold an active membership to be eligible to participate in all our School's Cup competitions

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a students already has an existing Volleyball NSW membership (i.e. full membership from a club participating in Sydney Volleyball League), they're not required to sign up for this membership type as they're covered by the higher level of membership.

• Opportunities to accredited Coach and Referee courses.
• Expanded opportunities for referee development whilst participating at School's Cup programs.
• Regular communications and updates from across the volleyball community.
• Alignment with Volleyball Australia’s development and performance pathways.
