The NSW Phoenix program is the highest level of the Volleyball NSW pathway programs for athletes to be a part of. The program has remained an integral stepping stone for the careers of some of Australia’s best volleyballers. Under the guidance of the NSW Phoenix coaching team, athletes can showcase their skills against other representative states and develop into elite volleyball players.

The NSW Phoenix Team is committed to improving engagement and the talent identification of regional athletes. To achieve this, we are offering a NSW Phoenix Development Training opportunity at the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre on 11 October 2025.

This opportunity is targeted towards under 18 athletes who are looking to step up their volleyball development and skills! The session will involve Head of the Phoenix Program Deb Chung, Phoenix Coach and winning Premier Mens Coach Ian Garrett and Phoenix Mentor Coach Jenny Towers. The session will be supported by Illawarra and South Coast Volleyball Clubs.

All registrants will receive a free ticket to the Australian Volleyball Super League game that follows the training session:

Game 1 (Women) - 2:00 PM NSW Phoenix v Adelaide Storm 

Game 2 (Men) - 3:30 PM NSW Phoenix v Adelaide Storm
