For the 2026 Youth Sydney Volleyball League (YSVL) season, Volleyball NSW is accepting Expressions of Interest from teams wishing to participate.
Please note that this is not a confirmed registration nor a guarantee of team entry.

Volleyball NSW will be implementing some minor adjustments to the competition for 2026. The most significant change is the update to the available age groups. More information on the changes can be found here. For the 2026 YSVL season, the following age groups will be offered:

• Under 19s (17–18 years) - Friday Night - Netball Central

• Under 17s (15–16 years) - Sunday - Sports Hall

• Under 15s (14 and under) - Sunday - Sports Hall

Any further changes or decisions regarding the competition structure, finals formats, team grading, and other operational matters will be finalised and announced in early 2026.

Please also note that while YSVL is a separate competition from Premier League (PLV), no crossover of players is permitted, except in exceptional circumstances.

Team Expression of Interest

Volleyball NSW intends to provide each interested club with at least one team in each age group as a priority. Clubs may submit requests for additional teams and will be asked to indicate their preferred divisions; however, additional teams or specific division placements are not guaranteed.

In the likely event that demand exceeds the number of available team positions, Volleyball NSW may apply additional criteria to determine team entries and division placements. These criteria may include, but are not limited to; past team performance/results, the club’s participation in other competitions and club history.

Securing a team position in the 2026 YSVL season does not guarantee placement in the 2027 season.
