NSW Phoenix Volleyball Academy Seeking Casual Coaches!

Volleyball NSW is seeking Casual NSW Phoenix Academy Coaches to support the development of future Phoenix athletes.

Academy coaches play a vital role in delivering high‑quality training environments that support technical, tactical, physical, and personal development. Coaches work collaboratively within the VNSW performance pathway to implement Individual Athlete Development Plans (IADPs), assist with talent identification, and foster a positive, high‑performance culture aligned with national standards.

The NSW Phoenix Volleyball Academy (PVA) is a central part of the Volleyball NSW (VNSW) performance pathway, providing year‑round, individualised development for identified NSW athletes.

Operating under Volleyball NSW, the PVA aligns with national pathway objectives and supports athlete progression towardsstate, national, and international programs. Athletes are selected by invitation only, identified through talent identification processes across the Youth, Junior, and Senior Phoenix programs.

The Academy is an individualised development program, separate from NSW State Teams. Athletes may integrate into state team programs throughout the year as part of their individual performance plans.
