Volleyball NSW is pleased to confirm that the annual membership rollover process is now complete, and registrations are open for the new season.

Volleyball NSW membership provides access to affiliated competitions, events, and programs across the state, supporting participation from entry‑level involvement through to development and performance pathways. Membership is required for all participants engaging in Volleyball NSW‑affiliated activities, in line with membership terms and conditions.

What's new this season

Several updates have been introduced to better reflect how people participate in volleyball and to improve clarity across membership options.

The recreational membership category has been expanded to clearly differentiate between Indoor Recreational and Beach Recreational participation. This includes the introduction of a Beach Recreational membership, offering a lower‑cost, participation‑focused entry point for beach‑only players. Indoor Recreational memberships continue to include both indoor and beach participation, while Beach Recreational memberships are limited to beach‑only activities.

A dedicated Schools Membership has also been introduced for students participating in Volleyball NSW‑recognised school competitions and events. This provides clearer eligibility, reporting, and pathways for school‑based participation.

In addition, membership pricing now includes transaction fees at checkout. The price displayed during registration is the final amount payable — what you see is what you pay, with no additional fees added during payment.

How to register

Members can register or renew their membership in one of the following ways:

• Register through an affiliated club
  Members participating in club‑based training, competitions, leagues, or events should register through their chosen club’s registration page. To find an affiliated club, visit the Find a Club page on our website.
• Register directly with Volleyball NSW
  Direct registration with Volleyball NSW is available where a membership is required without joining a club, such as for certain programs or activities that do not require club affiliation.

Please note: For all club‑based activities, training, competitions, and leagues, members are required to register through a club and pay both the Volleyball NSW membership fee and any applicable club fees.
