We've got news, and it starts with you
Published Thu 08 Oct 2026

There's a version of this story that starts with a logo and a signature. We're not telling that one.
We're telling the one about the volunteer coach taping an ankle before warm-up. The teenager who came off court after her first season with a niggle she didn't want to admit to. The player who's been managing the same shoulder for three seasons because getting it properly looked at always felt like one more thing on a long list.
That's the story Precision Imaging Partners is stepping into. Today, we're proud to welcome them as the naming rights partner for NSW Phoenix.

Why this partnership, why now
We are more than 20,000 people across NSW: 10,500 registered members, 60+ affiliated clubs, players from 104 nationalities, ages 5 to 75. Participation has grown more than 150% in five years, and it's still growing. That's a lot of bodies on court, week after week, and being in sport at every level, social to elite, asks a lot of them.
Health in sport isn't just what happens in the physio room after something goes wrong. It's the holistic picture: understanding what's going on in a shoulder, a knee, a back, early enough that a niggle doesn't become a season-ending injury. That's what makes Precision Imaging Partners the right partner for us.
Meet Precision Imaging Partners
Precision Imaging Partners is a doctor-led diagnostic imaging network with 18 clinics across NSW, from Bankstown to the Central Coast, Western Sydney to the CBD. Chances are, there's a clinic near wherever you play. Their services include X-ray, MRI, ultrasound and DEXA scanning, exactly the kind of diagnostics that matter when a player's managing a knee, a shoulder or a stress fracture and needs answers fast, not a long wait.
And now, it's easier for our members to access. Full Volleyball NSW members get bulk billing with Precision Imaging Partners, plus priority booking, so getting a scan sorted doesn't mean choosing between your health and your wallet, or waiting weeks for an appointment.
Precision Imaging Partners chose to partner with Volleyball NSW and NSW Phoenix because of a shared commitment to supporting healthy, active communities and helping people perform at their best. With volleyball continuing to grow rapidly across NSW, the partnership provides an opportunity for Precision to support athletes at every level with greater access to high-quality diagnostic imaging and expert care.

How this connects to our plan
Every partnership we build exists for one reason: so more of what we earn goes back into the clubs, competitions and programs that make volleyball better for everyone playing it. That's Growing Our Sport, one of the four pillars of Our Sport. Our Plan.
But this one goes further than funding. It's also Putting Our People First: players, coaches, volunteers and clubs are who this plan is built to back, and bulk billing with priority booking for full members is a direct, practical investment in the people who make this sport what it is.
And it's part of Telling Our Story: we've said all along that we're leading the growth of volleyball nationally, and that everyone playing, coaching, refereeing and volunteering is part of how we get there. A partner with clinics across the state, thinking about the long-term health of our players, is thinking about the same thing we are: making sure people can keep playing, for longer.
