The 2026 NSW Youth Indoor Championships is a fantastic opportunity for youth volleyballers from all corners of the state to compete against one another and show off their skills.
One of the primary objectives of this tournament is to serve as athlete talent ID opportunity for future Phoenix teams and programs.
DAY 1 RASi SESSION
Day 1 of the NSW Youth Indoor Championships is currently being proposed as development session with NSW Phoenix coaches catered towards the Regional Academies of Sport (RASi).
This will be held Friday evening (12 June) at Netball Central 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
DAY 2 RASi CHALLENGE
On Day 2 RASi teams compete against one another in an U19 tournament for Boys and Girls. Clubs are not permitted to compete at the Day 2 tournament.
Saturday Afternoon (13 June) - 12:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Divisions & Age Requirements
The event will include the following Divisions:
- U19 Boys (6 teams)
- U19 Girls (6 teams)
Please note that players must be younger than the age limit for their division for the entire calendar year.
For example, to play in the Under 19 division, a player must not turn 19 before or on December 31, 2026.
Exemption requests related to this rule may be allowed in some circumstances and should be requested to competitions@volleyballnsw.com.au
Other Tournament Information
Maximum 14 players per team. Only 12 medals awarded.
Each team will receive a minimum 3 games.
Timed Best of 5 matches, 15 minute warm up, 45 minute playing time.
Volleyball NSW reserves the right to change any tournament formats and procedures as needed.
Registration
For Day 2 - RASi Challenge team entry is only open to Regional Academy of Sport Institutes. RASi teams and regional clubs are not limited and can have multiple teams in a division. Register above using the register button.
For Day 3 - NSW Youth Champs BOTH RASi teams and Affiliated Club teams should register for the event here.
RASI TEAM REGISTRATION WINDOW - 9:00 AM Thursday 28th April - 11:59 PM Friday 15th May.

TEAM ENTRY FEES & PAYMENT
- DAY 2 - RASi Challenge - RASi Teams Only - $150 incl. GST per team
- DAY 3 - NSW YOUTH CHAMPS - All Teams - $499 incl. GST per team
- Deposit Required when registering - $74 incl. GST per team
Teams will be invoiced for the remaining team fees Monday 8th June. Payment must be received no later than Wednesday 10th June.
